Laura is no stranger to dogs. As a young child, she was attacked by an Old English Sheepdog that lived with her aunt. This attack required Laura to have several plastic surgeries to repair the damage done to her face.

Laura's parents were determined that she would not grow up afraid of dogs due to this situation, and they made sure there was always a dog living in the household.  Laura has grown up / trained and competed with Dobermans, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Flat Coated Retrievers and Labradors.

Laura has decades of training and competition experience in flyball, dock diving, obedience, rally and agility. Her current dogs are profiled below:

ARCHX UACH MollibiGolli RL1X RL2X CW-ZR1 CGC 

When we first met Laura, it was at the Training Place when she brought Molli, her rescue Flat Coated Retriever, into a puppy class.  Molli was scared of the world and crawled into the training room on her belly.  

Molli is now a multiple Rally Obedience Trial Champion and a UKC Agility Champion.

Laura and Molli were the #2 Dog and Handler Team in APDT Rally Level 2 for 2007 and the #13 Dog and Handler Team in APDT Rally Level 1 in 2006.

If you don't think dogs can fly, you haven't seen Drew leave the dock in the Ultimate Air Dogs dock diving competitions.

Drew is one of the area's best dock diving dogs, reaching a personal best jump nearing 26'!  This photo shows her competing at Outdoorama in February.

Drew recently earned her UKC Ultimate Jumper Championship title.  She is currently competing in Rally Obedience (AKC, UKC, APDT and C-WAGS) and Agility (AKC and UKC).  

Drew has earned Awards of Excellence in APDT Rally Level 1 and APDT Rally Level 2.
